Cuvée and Azzardo Rosso: the wines signed by Roberta Moresco debuted in the splendid venue of the Castle of Marostica, in Vicenza.
This is where Roberta, wine steward and entrepreneur from Vicenza, gained her experience in the world of wines as a selector and supply manager of the Associazione Italiana Sommelier Veneto, as an AIS delegate of Vicenza from 2010 to 2014, and as the owner of the Emmebi wine shop together with her husband Guerrino Bortolomiol.
Roberta’s objective is very precise: make wines that she could never find, but always dreamed of tasting. Cuvée is the simple name she gave to the vintage Dry spumante produced with Chardonnay and Glera grapes, and Azzardo Rosso is an unprecedented blend of Pinot Nero and Corvina. These are wines that she created with the collaboration of three important producers: Fausto Maculan, Cantina Maculan; Luca Speri, Speri Viticoltori; and Enrico Martellozzo, Belussi Spumanti.
“I made my dream come true – exclaims Roberta Moresco – after having known so many labels and made so many discoveries over time, I decided to make the wines that I have dreamt of tasting and having other people taste, but that I could never find. And I decided to put my name on the bottles. It is a project that entertained and enthralled me, without ever losing sight of the attention and commitment in following every production detail. I must also thank the help of friends-producers who stood by my side during this adventure.”
